Big Baby in the Building

This week on Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles, the fellas are joined by the one and only Glen “Big Baby” Davis. In this laughter-filled ep, Big Baby details how nasty he was on the football field as a 330-pound eighth grader. He even had Nick Saban recruiting him to play college ball. Davis explains why he chose basketball over football, and then gets into his time at LSU, which included a surprise run to the Final Four. The guys then ask him about the time he body-slammed Shaq, and Baby talks about the influence Shaq had on him growing up. The discussion then moves on to Davis’s years in Boston — Baby tells a hilarious story about missing his first team bus. He also gets into what it was like to learn from the Celtics Big 3: KG, Ray, and Paul, and talks about the effect each of them had on his career. Q then recalls a certain Secret Santa story from when he and Davis were teammates in Orlando. Big Baby details the rest of his NBA journey, and discusses the differences between each of the cities he played. Finally, you’ll want to make sure you see Big Baby’s BBQ “advertisement,” as well as find out what he did when he first made real money.
