The Chirp: Peyton Manning Retirement Edition

Following the Denver Broncos announcement on Sunday, Peyton Manning’s retirement from the NFL was made official after 18 seasons in the league. Along with the Super Bowl ring Manning won with the team in February, he also takes with him a Super Bowl XLI championship and no shortage of league records, including five NFL MVP awards, most career passing yards and most career touchdown passes. For these achievements and his influence and legacy on the game, plenty weighed into congratulate and thank the “Sheriff.”
