Mi Musica

Every player needs a good song to take the field to. Music to inspire them, represent them and excite the fans. Like most Dominicans, I’m a bachata guy. And for bachata music, there’s no one better than Zacarías Ferreíra.

I’ve been listening to Zacarías since I was a kid. His music is everywhere on the island. It’s a piece of who I am and where I’m from. So when my agent introduced me to Zacarías, I was thrilled.

For the past few days, Zacarías and I have been in the studio in New York collaborating on a brand new tune — my 2016 entrance music. We’re still working on it, but trust me, it’s going to be something special.

So stay tuned … this year, when I come in from the bullpen, if I’m not dancing, I’ll be singing along to the music.

Here’s a look inside the studio with me and one of my favorite artists, Zacarías Ferreíra.
