Director, Product Design

Location: New York, NY

TPT is looking for a product designer with multidisciplinary design experience to lead the product design team. This individual will drive the creative process, from product concept to launch and ongoing iteration. The role will collaborate very closely with engineers and product managers.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing visual elegance everywhere
• Balancing a healthy amount of creative play with practical product delivery
• Setting strategic direction, while also executing tactical design work
• Representing the user in all aspects of the product life-cycle
• Owning thoughtful UX
• Establishing and executing a design process for the team, including stakeholder and user involvement
• Partnering with PMs and Engineers to rapidly iterate products as one cohesive team
• Leading and mentoring the current product design team
• Proposing future team growth as needed

Required Qualifications / Skills:

• 10+ years design experience
• Extensive experience with web design
• Extensive experience with mobile app design
• Experience with designing internal team software
• Experience with motion graphics
• Front end programming experience is a bonus
