Road to Rio

Earlier this month, the USA Basketball Women’s National Team conducted their final training camp ahead of the 2016 Olympics. Finalists, including Maya Moore, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Brittney Griner, Elena Delle Donne, Tamika Catchings, among others, opened up their practices to The Players’ Tribune over three days at the University of Connecticut, while head USAB coach Geno Auriemma held court.

Here are the Olympians in training, who hope to bring home a record eighth gold medal in Rio.
