Athletes are people, too. Listen to their stories. Speak up for what’s right. Silence is not an option. #BlackLivesMatter.

That fear and understanding that this is what goes on, that’s something you can’t teach somebody.
A press release or statement from the team didn’t feel right. I needed to speak from the heart.
Keep on fighting, Black girls. I see you. I got you.
When someone says a black man is being aggressive, that’s it — it’s over. There’s no coming back from that. Anything you say or do will just prove their point.
I’ve had more run ins with racist people than I have ever before in my life in the past few weeks. All because I spoke up.
We simply do not have any more time to waste. This is too important.
If we in the Black community want change, we have to go make it.
I refuse to regress, nor do I want to remain stagnant.
Any racism at all, on any level, is worth confronting, and worth exposing, and worth speaking up about.
It’s time to think boldly about what a reimagined world can look like.
We have to make sure that this doesn’t die out.
