Gallery: Sports Portraits

I grew up a crazy sports fan. Photography was a passion that I developed going to games as a kid, and being able to create a portrait of an athlete is the next best thing to playing. Being an athlete requires an exuberant amount of physical endurance. Being a photographer, not so much; however, when I place a camera in front of an athlete, I have only a few seconds to gain an athlete’s trust and secure his or her stature. It’s powerful.
