Real Fan Life: Jalen Rose

Jalen Rose is famous for redefining college basketball as a member of the Fab Five. Now, people know him from TV, radio, his podcast, his new book and for screaming “Hoooold me baack!” every time a fight almost breaks out in the NBA.

One thing he will never be famous for, however, is his golf swing. It’s absolutely terrible.

But it’s all for a good cause.

The annual Jalen Rose Leadership Academy Celebrity Golf Outing raises funds and awareness for Jalen’s biggest off-the-court endeavor, the charter school he founded in the city of Detroit.

In a Players’ Tribune exclusive, I hit the links with Jalen to talk about giving back and what it feels like to have Kobe drop 81 on you.
