It’s often said there is no trophy in professional sports that demands more of an athlete physically, mentally and emotionally than the Stanley Cup. Nobody knows that better than the players themselves who have left their blood and sweat on the ice in pursuit of it. Leading up to the Stanley Cup Final, The Players’ Tribune, in association with Hulu, the NHL and the NHLPA, hosted a roundtable of current NHL players to discuss in detail what it takes. In episode 2, the guys discuss the Vegas Golden Knights’ rise to the top and share what it was like to play in the city for the first time.
