Summer Games

The Olympic Games are the ultimate test of sport, with a diversity of competition and competitors that simply doesn’t exist anywhere else. But it’s not just the world’s greatest athletes battling each other in pursuit of glory; the games draw the world’s best photographers, too, all hungry to score Olympic history’s next iconic image. I’ve covered four Summer Games, each made special by the cultural influence of the host nation and the always-evolving cast of athletes and journalists there to experience it.
