The Chirp: Rest in Peace, Lauren Hill
College basketball player Lauren Hill passed away Friday morning after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 19. Lauren learned she had an inoperable brain tumor just as she was getting ready to attend Mount St. Joseph’s to live her dream of playing college basketball. She inspired athletes across the sports world and fans across the country as that dream came to life despite the diagnosis. Today, athletes and friends took to Twitter to honor Lauren’s memory.
