Weird Sports

Photographer Sol Neelman doesn’t discriminate against any sport. He loves them all, but especially the weird ones. When he left the newspaper world in 2007, he decided to travel the globe and shoot the less traditional sports: underwater hockey, ostrich racing, lingerie basketball. These are his bread and butter. Sol shared some of his favorite photos with The Players’ Tribune, giving us a glance into a world of sports that few knew existed.
