Even if you’ve never heard the name Jed Jacobsohn, if you’re a longtime sports fan, you’ve almost definitely seen his work.

The Players’ Tribune senior staff photographer’s ability to capture iconic sports moments has led to classic images that range from Evander Holyfiield’s bloodied ear (right) to Usain Bolt’s sprint into the record books. Jed’s work has appeared in major publications around the world, including the New York Times, Sports Illustrated and Time magazine in addition to the extensive work he’s done for Getty Images and Nike. He has also been awarded top prizes in many prestigious contests such as World Press Photo and Pictures of the Year.
